  Allan joined Solamere Capital in October 2008. From 1995 to 2008, he was the CFO of Boston-based private equity firm JW Childs Associates, where he designed and managed the administrative, accounting, cash, financial, tax and reporting functions from the firm's inception through its peak investing period when it had three funds aggregating $3.3 billion under management. From 1993 to 1995, he was the Manager of Accounting and Reporting at Snapple Beverage. From 1989 to 1993, Allan was a Senior Associate with Coopers & Lybrand. Allan is a Certified Public Accountant; he holds an M.S. degree in Public Accounting from the Long Island University, and a B.S. degree in Business Management from Skidmore College. Allan and his wife Susan live in Marblehead, MA and have 2 children.
